DEV GAATHA · देव गाथा

Terms of Use

Last updated 3 October 2026 · Dev Gaatha app for Android and iPhone, published by Confidant PA Limited

The stories

Dev Gaatha tells stories from the Puranas, the epics and living folk tradition as creative retellings, made with reverence. Where a story comes from folk tradition rather than scripture, the app says so. Traditions differ between regions and families; the app does not claim that its telling is the only correct one.

देव गाथा की कथाएँ पुराणों और लोक-परंपरा पर आधारित रचनात्मक प्रस्तुतियाँ हैं, श्रद्धा के साथ बनाई गई हैं।

Panchang, festival dates and rituals

Panchang values are calculated and approximate. Festival dates follow a published New Delhi calendar, and regional observances can fall on a different day. Ritual guidance in the app describes common practice and is not religious instruction. Please confirm fasts, muhurats and rituals with your family tradition, local almanac or priest.

Free and ad-supported

The app is free to use and is supported by ads, as described in our Privacy Policy. Some features may ask you to watch a short ad.

Using the content

The videos, artwork, texts and app design are owned by Confidant PA Limited or used with permission. Aarti and Chalisa texts are traditional and belong to everyone.
